Camping Food
You will want foods that are easy to make and still enough that will fill you so that you have the energy that you need to do all the fun things while camping. You will want to have a variety of foods so that you are not bored with the foods that you are getting at each meal. If you have a camping stove with you, you can bring some great camping food that will be tasteful and easy to cook.
Some of the things that you can bring along as camping food are hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage, and chicken. You can bring along anything that you can cook on a camping stove or a grill. You will want to make sure that you are keeping the foods cold when they are not in use. Some people will bring along a cooler packed with a lot of ice and others will have the availability of electric and bring a miniature fridge with them to store the foods.
Some people prefer to rough it when in the wilderness and they may want to cook the foods that they kill. Some people like to go fishing when they are camping and cook what they catch on daily basis. However, this is not something that you will want to rely on. You want to bring along other foods so that you are not depending on the catch of the day.
You can bring along breakfast foods like muffins, eggs, and bread. All you have to do is make sure that you are bringing along some thing to cook them with and on. If you have the camping stove, make sure that you are bringing along a pot or pan to cook on. You will also wan to make sure that you have something to store the breads and other grains in while you are camping so nothing can make its way into the food.
Make sure that you are bringing along your marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers. You will want to make sure that you are making the smores that everyone loves so much while camping. It would just not be the same without these tasty treats. You may also want to bring along some chips and other great snack foods that you love to munch on at night and in between meals.
Bringing along some apples and other fruits is a great idea. This way you can eat something healthy while you are camping and they make great snacks for when you need a pick 'me up'. The one main thing that you need to remember is plenty of water. Bring as much as you can just in case there is nowhere to get spring water. You want to make sure that you and anyone with you has enough to drink while you are out camping in the wilderness.
